Departure

I'm leaving Thursday (eek) and will be there late friday night east coast time.  I will post about my flight as soon as I get a chance.  Hopefully I will be sleeping for most of the flight, but I'm not looking forward to the 8-hour layover.  Take care everyone, and please keep in touch if you can.  I want to hear about everything happening here as well.  

The Beginning

Hey all, I'm writing this to keep in touch while I'm off in K-land.  I was thinking this would be the easiest way to let everyone know what I've been up to and also to keep myself sane.  2 months is a loooooong time.
